Spot the videos blowing up in your niche, before they reach your market.
When a video does 10× its channel’s usual views, it’s not luck. It’s a format taking off. VideoTrends watches your niche across foreign markets and surfaces the outliers. All in one feed, measured every 4 hours.

Example · live data from the feed
708.7K views on a channel whose median is 7.3K. That’s not luck. That’s a format taking off.
The ×97.4 score pushed it to the top of the feed the moment it left its channel’s normal range. The curve tells you whether it is still climbing, and that window is your head start to adapt the format to your market.
The problem
Good ideas do not win. Formats that are already working do.
- Your original idea gets buried while a copy of last month’s hit blows up.
- You have no way of knowing which formats are working in your niche right now.
- By the time a format shows up in your feed, it has been copied for weeks.
- The signal is often in another language, on a channel you have never heard of.
- Comparing a video to its channel by hand means fifty tabs and arithmetic you will not repeat tomorrow.
Stop guessing. Measure what already works, then make it yours.

How it works
Three steps, zero manual monitoring.
Follow your niche, everywhere
Search your topic in the languages that inspire you and follow the channels that matter on each market.
We measure so you don’t have to
Every video gets a view snapshot every 4 hours. Its ×N score compares it to its own channel’s median: a ×10 is an anomaly, not a big channel.
Be first on your market
Outliers land in your feed sorted by score or velocity. Spot the format taking off elsewhere and adapt it before anyone else.
Features
A control room, not a spreadsheet.
Outlier score ×N
Every video is judged against its own channel’s median, so a small channel exploding ranks as high as a giant. A cold-to-hot ramp makes it readable at a glance.
Real-time velocity
Snapshots every 4 hours turn views into a trajectory. “↗ +134k views / 24h” shows what is accelerating right now, not what already peaked.
Channel discovery by topic
Type your theme in any language, filter by views and subscribers, follow in one click. Collection starts immediately.
Video page with views curve
Likes, duration, subscribers and the full views curve on one page: everything you need to judge a takeoff before adapting it.
Bookmarks, filters and sorting
Keep the signals worth digging into. Filter by language, period, ×N threshold, views or duration; sort by score or velocity.

What we actually track
Numbers you can check, not a badge.
Read from the database as this page loads. We count channels and snapshots, not sign-ups. A number nobody can verify is not a proof.
Free tools
38 tools that ask nothing of you.
No account for 35 of them, no limit, nothing to install, and they run on the same measurements as the product itself.
How we differ
The parts most tools leave out.
| VideoTrends | Most tools | |
|---|---|---|
| What a video is compared to | Its own channel’s median | The average, or an unstated baseline |
| Whether the method is public | Written out, indexable, on the page | A score out of 100, weights undisclosed |
| Free tools | 38, most without an account | A handful, buried in the footer |
| What the homepage numbers count | Channels and snapshots in the database | “creators” : signed up, active or paying, unstated |
| Non-English versions | Full French site, its own URLs | A language switch that lands on English |
| What the tool admits it cannot do | Stated in each tool’s FAQ | Rarely mentioned |

FAQ
Everything you need before joining.
Where does the data come from?
From the official YouTube Data API: exact view counts snapshotted every 4 hours, channel profiles and video metadata. No page scraping behind the measurements.
How is this different from a YouTube stats tool?
Stats tools look at your channel. VideoTrends looks at other markets: it detects videos outperforming their own channel abroad, the earliest signal that a format is taking off, before it gets translated.
Why the channel median, and not raw views?
Sorting by raw views only ever shows big channels. The ×N score measures the anomaly: a video at 10× its channel’s median is a signal, whether it has 100k views or 10M.
I don’t speak the languages I track. Is that a problem?
No. What you’re after is the format: the concept, the thumbnail, the angle. The video page gives you the context, and the YouTube link opens the video with automatic subtitles.
Do I need to connect my YouTube account?
No. VideoTrends only reads public data through the official API: no password, no channel access. Declaring your own channel is optional; it unlocks benchmarking your videos against your own median.
How much does it cost?
Nothing during early access: every feature is unlocked. Later, a single plan at €19/month will keep everything unlimited. Early users will be the first to know, and nothing changes without warning.
