Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of videotrends.io. By creating an account, you accept them. We have tried to keep them short and honest rather than exhaustive and unreadable.

1. The service

VideoTrends, operated by DIGITIZ PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore under unique entity number 202037013D, whose registered office is at 160 Robinson Road #14-04, Singapore Business Federation Center (SBF Center), measures public YouTube videos against the median performance of their own channel and surfaces those that outperform it. It is an analysis tool: it reads public data, and it neither publishes nor modifies anything on YouTube.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the product. You must give a valid e-mail address, keep your password confidential, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@videotrends.io if you suspect it has been compromised.

One person, one account. Sharing an account between several people, or automating access to the service, is not allowed.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, resell or redistribute the data the product shows you as a product of your own;
  • attempt to bypass rate limits, access other users’ accounts, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written agreement;
  • use the service to infringe anyone’s rights, including the copyright of the creators whose videos are measured.

4. Price and early access

VideoTrends is free during early access. Paid plans will come later; when they do, registered users will be told first and no one will be charged without an explicit, prior agreement. Nothing you use today becomes retroactively billable.

5. Availability and data accuracy

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service: it depends on third parties — chiefly the YouTube API — whose availability and quotas are outside our control.

Scores and view counts come from the official YouTube API, snapshotted every two hours. They are indicators, not certified figures, and must not be treated as investment, contractual or editorial guarantees. Decisions you make from them are yours.

6. Content and intellectual property

Video titles, thumbnails and statistics belong to their creators and to YouTube; they are displayed for analysis purposes, with links to the original videos. The product itself — its interface, its scoring engine and its texts — belongs to us.

7. Ending it

You may delete your account at any time by writing to hello@videotrends.io. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after warning you unless the breach makes an immediate suspension necessary.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage — lost revenue, lost audience or lost opportunity — arising from the use of the service or from the unavailability of the data it relies on. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, where the company is registered. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably by writing to hello@videotrends.io, it will be brought before the competent Singapore courts. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
